Female POWs, members of the former German Wehrmacht, enjoy some sunny weather in front of one of the airplane hangars at the Fliegerhorst. PWE 26 was one of the largest prisoner of war camps in southern Germany and became noted for the poor conditions found in this makeshift prison camp.
